Paul Vossen, University of California Cooperative Extension – Farm Advisor in Sonoma and Marin Counties will lead a four-hour workshop this Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the Templeton Community Center in Templeton, CA.

This event is open to the public, but seating is very limited and advanced reservations are highly recommended. Cost is $40 and includes a light supper and refreshments. Reservations can be made by contacting Denise Schryver at (805) 461-0496.

Farming operations, including irrigation, fertilization, pruning, frost mitigation, harvest efficiencies, pest management will be covered. Industry trends will be explored as well as recently proposed quality standards. This information-packed session will be wrapped up with Paul sampling and commenting on some of the locally produced extra virgin olive oils.
