Pacific Sun Farms
The olives for our 100% natural Pacific Sun Olive Oil are locally grown and harvested. Then we mill and bottle the oil right here on our family farm in Tehama County, at the head of California’s fertile central valley. Pacific Sun exists to create artisanal foods that express and preserve the unique flavors of our growing region and our agricultural community. |

We are a woman owned, family operated business. The company, Pacific Sun Gourmet, is part of Pacific Farms & Orchards, Inc., a third-generation family farm that has been in business in Tehama County since 1952. Our farm headquarters is located in Gerber, CA, at the northern end of the fertile Sacramento Valley. The farm is owned and run by the Flynn Family with Jane Flynn as owner and her son Brendon Flynn as general manager. Our operation currently employs approximately 25 year-round dedicated individuals who have a combined average tenure of almost 15 years. In addition to operating a first class olive oil mill, Pacific Farms is a producer of orchard crops such as prunes, walnuts, and almonds. |

Brendon Flynn is a third generation farmer who was born and raised in Tehama County in Northern California. Pacific Farms was originally started by his grandfather in 1952. Brendon holds a B.S. in Agricultural Business from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. After working in many different areas and disciplines related to agri-business, Brendon decided to return to his family's farming operation to pursue a career in production agriculture. His focus on diversifying the scope of Pacific Farm's business and the desire to bring a product directly "from the field to the consumer" has led to the Pacific Sun venture. |

Jane was raised in Pacific Palisades, in Los Angeles, California. She was about as far removed from agriculture as possible until she moved to Gerber, California, as a young bride. Mrs. Flynn raised six children on the farm before becoming a “farmer by default” after her husband’s untimely death in a plane accident in 1986. She felt a responsibility to the men who worked for her husband and her family to keep Pacific Farms going. In the years since Mr. Flynn’s death, Pacific Farms has continued to innovate, and Mrs. Flynn credits the success to the farm’s experienced management team. |
