We are trying to develop a rosemary and olive oil product and one of the requirements given is that the rosemary sprig should look fresh inside the bottle. Is there some way to accomplish this without clouding the oil from moisture or causing bacterial growth?
The only way to do this that we know of is to completely dehydrate the rosemary before putting it into the oil. It will retain its shape, color and oil based flavors but cannot spoil.
