Cotton
Root Rot
Cotton root rot is Phymatotrichum omnivorum. We heard
of farmers in Arizona and California who plowed under cotton and planted olives
with very poor results. I wouldn't plant on top of cotton. More commonly olives
get Phytophthora root and crown rot if over-watered. It is not considered a
huge problem.
