2nd Annual Olive Festival at the OUSD Nature Area
Sunday, October 2, 2011, 1:00 – 4:00 pm

Please join us for the Free Second Annual Olive Festival next to Wagner Ranch School, a fundraiser to help support top quality environmental education for Orinda’s children. Come join us for the fun!

Did you know that General Theodore Wagner, United States Surveyor General, established the orchard of Mission Olive trees in the late 1800’s?
• Taste olives and a variety of olive oils
• Enjoy local chefs demonstrating olive recipes
• Children create art and crafts to celebrate the olive tree—a symbol of peace
• Explore the trails, ponds, and olive grove in the Nature Area
• Be inspired by music under a canopy of oaks
• Find great bargains at the Silent Auction and Raffle
