|Established in 1986, as a second degree cooperative, JAENCOOP comprises 11 olive oil mill cooperatives, located in the regions of La Loma, Sierra de las Villas, El Condado and Sierra de Segura, in Jaen province, Andalusia, in the heart of southern Spain. |
The group counts among its cooperatives the largest olive oil mill in the world, Nuestra Señora del Pilar de Villacarrillo cooperative, with a processing capability of 2.5 million Kg of Olive paste per day. The more than 8,000 farming households that form the JAENCOOP group operate about 86,000 acres of land and 4.5 million olive trees. In total, we market more than 50 million kilos (14 million gallons) of oil per crop year, which represent about 4% of national production, 65% of which is sold within the country. JAENCOOP operates primarily in the international market in bulk, but allocates part of its production to offer it to customers under the brand CAZORLIVA, manufacturing also for different retail chains operating under its own private label. About 35% of our production is currently exported to over 20 countries. Thanks to our exceptional effort and commitment in Olive selection, we are becoming more renowned as producers of one of the best Virgin Olive oils available, with an unbeatably unique quality, which is evident in its unmistakable aroma and taste.

|JAENCOOP was born in 1986, when 10 mills in the province of Jaen, most of them with a history of more than 50 years, decide to join the passion for their work and their commitment to the olives’ sector, to found a manufacturing group focused on producing and marketing olive oil of extraordinary quality. After the addition of a new cooperative in 2011, the group is currently comprised of 11 cooperatives from Jaen province.|
