A comprehensive olive oil training program taught in Japanese language for Japanese people. Courses include history, culinary, health, chemistry, sensory evaluation, agronomy, milling, marketing and other aspects of olive oil. Course level certificates available for Junior Sommelier Program completion; Sommelier Program completion; Master Sommelier Program Completion as well as more casual classes for the public. Study tours of producing regions in Japan and abroad, language, culinary and other cultural programs are offered. The OSAJ sponsors and is the organizer of the annual OLIVE JAPAN competition, marché, symposium and concourse events in Japan each Spring.
