Most of our 1000 Spanish olive trees were planted in 1906, during California's first olive boom. The shallow soil and extreme seasonal weather at Sylverleaf are ideal for growing premium olives that show all of the character and complexity of this unique region. The Paradiso Sisters, or Sorelle Paradiso came to America near the turn of the Century from a small Italian village in Puglia. They had little to bring other than their knowledge of the garden and the kitchen. Their tradition has been passed down to make our hand-crafted olive products using only the finest sun-ripened California olives. These olives are picked by hand and crushed in small batches, giving our organic extra virgin olive oil a flavor reminiscent of the Old World.

The Shellaberger Family Olive Ranch is located outside of the city of Temecula, CA.
The ranch consists of 120 acres of 32 year old olive trees. They are Mission and
Manzanillio varieties. This is our first year of harvesting the olives.
