In 1900, a group of professors from UC, Berkeley set out to identify the optimal location for growing olives. The highly unique agriculture environment, planted in 1913, continues to produce rare fruit yielding some of the best tasting and highest polyphenol extra virgin olive oil anywhere. Awards honor the excellence of Berkeley Olive Grove 1913 each year, including L.A. International EVOO Competition Best of Show.
