Organic Program California Women for Agriculture Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems is a research and education group at the University of California, Santa Cruz. The Center's goal is to research, develop, and advance sustainable food and agricultural systems which are environmentally sound, economically viable, socially responsible, non-exploitative, and which serve as a foundation for future generations Community Alliance with Family Farmers is a nonprofit member-activist organization. CAFF political and educational campaigns are building a movement of rural and urban people who foster family-scale agriculture that cares for the land, sustains local economies, and promotes social justice. California Olive Committee - administers the program set up by Federal Marketing Order No. 932 under the Agricultural Marketing Agreement Act of 1937 to effect the orderly marketing of olives grown in California. Mostly concerns itself with canned olives. Fertilizer Research and Education Program The Fertilizer Research and Education Program (FREP) was created to advance the environmentally safe and agronomically sound use and handling of fertilizer materials. Most of FREP's current work is concerned specifically with nitrate contamination of groundwater.
